We build businesses to follow dreams and give life to our passions, spending hours not only developing the idea but building a brand, so why the heck not protect it!
67% of small business owners who faced legal issues in the last few years never sought professional advice because they believed it to be cost-prohibitive, we are here to debunk that myth! You can have the security that DIY contracts don't offer you, without spending gobs of money!
At Legal LAB we hope to boil down a vast, dense business necessity (the law) and show you how feasible it is to protect what you've built by touching on the following:
- The documents every business owner should have
- The nitty gritty of contracts
- Protecting all the work you've created: behind the scenes of Intellectual Property
- Social media contests and giveaways - what you need to know!
There are many ways that one can protect their business, platform, and brand, but where to begin? how do we sort through all that legal muck and actually understand how to protect a business? In Legal LAB we will focus on different ways to protect all that you have created, allowing you to leave understanding how the law relates to your business, what legal needs you have, and just how you can check off those boxes as a small business owner.
Hard work, passion, success and tireless support for others. In less than 4 years, Wynne started two successful businesses and at just 30, successfully sold one of them, to focus on law.
In 2013, Wynne started Reece Law, L.L.C., a boutique firm focusing on civil litigation (product liability, injury work, insurance and business litigation) and business law; shortly thereafter her father and mentor joined her. Jim Reece spent over 35 years working at a large litigation firm and had an impeccable track record, including some notable 8-figure cases. Still, they wanted to work together, focusing on the pillars of justice and love of the law, so they became partners.
In addition to litigation, they also truly enjoy working with businesses and facilitating ease in the lawyer-client relationship. In 2015 Wynne recognized the need for affordable legal work for small businesses and launched The Creative's Counsel. Through her practice she has worked with over 100 businesses, while continuing to facilitate philanthropic ventures in our community, serve on a number of committees and act as head coach of the high school Mock Trial at Breck. She encompasses the ideals not only of a successful business owner, but a community advocate.

What attendees are saying...
"What a great and beneficial workshop! As a new business owner, there is a lot that is completely over my head so this workshop seemed like the perfect Lab to attend. Not knowing a single thing about business law, the lab sounded intimidating at first but it was far from that. It was such a laid back and safe space to ask questions and gather important information that will better myself as an owner and my clients. Thank you so much for helping my business grow. Can't wait to attend my next workshop!"

"I have nothing but good things to say about LAB For Business. This was my first business course with LAB. I have attended a weaving course before. This was so great to get an inside scope and have someone local that we could ask questions. The group was very casual and it was very easy going to just pick Wynne's brain and get advice based on our business and what we needed. I will definitely be contacting her to help me personally and get more advice. Thanks again for this great workshop! Can't wait to attend the next ones!"
